Tim is a documentary and commercial editor based in Portland, Maine.

Tim’s documentary work has been recognized nationally by the Emmy Awards, Vimeo’s Staff Picks, World Press, the NAACP, and the Webby Awards, amongst others. Currently, Tim is a senior editor at Blue Chalk Media, takes on freelance work as the owner of Pale Blue Dot editorial services, and was formerly an editor at both MediaStorm and GoodFight Media. He has edited films and television for clients including the National Geographic Channel, Magnolia Network, USA Today, WSJ Magazine, and CNN, which are available on streaming platforms such as HBO Max, Amazon Prime, the Roku Channel, and Waterbear.


Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Tim earned his Master of Fine Arts at the University of Florida’s School of Art and Art History and a Bachelor in History from Centre College. He lives in Portland with his wife Britt, daughter Matilda, and son Fox.
